Kea

Just decided to upload a (very) select few of the many, many, many photos I took on my recent New Zealand/Hawaii trip. x3

NZ's Kea is the largest parrot in the world, and is also considered the smartest bird in the world... Although who judged that contest, I couldn't say. x3 This guy's wild, but he was really, really curious about all those gangly humans with their big black boxes. Apparently they like to 'test' new objects by biting them, so I guess he was interested in my tourmate's arm. xD

Actually, most of NZ's wildlife seemed pretty bold, with the notable exception of those darn kiwis- which I did see, but couldn't get pictures of, of course, since the flash could hurt them.
